Frederick W. Penney, founder of Penney & Associates, has attained great success in both the legal work and as a businessman. How did he do it?

While fellow attorneys were out buying Lamborghinis and mansions, Penney sat in the same small, humble home and drove an average BMW. He invested in businesses. Penney put his stamp of approval on endeavors that would build his brand and ensure his name held value throughout the U.S. “Even though I’m a lawyer by trade, I’m a businessman first. My legal team and I are great and powerful lawyers, but you have to run a business first,” he said.
